Here are some tips for healthier living:
1. Do not smoke! Smoking is one cause of death in America. If you are a woman smoking, your risk of heart disease and cancer would be very possible, especially if you use oral contraceptives. Beware of secondhand smoke in the workplace or home will also increase the risk.
2. Rein cholesterol. High cholesterol is the biggest risk factor for heart disease and indirectly increases the risk of stroke.
