Moon Geun Young is one of the youngest and most talented Korean actresses. She started modelling at the age of 12, and appeared in the documentary-drama On the Road by Choi Jae Eun. Her stardom grew in 2000 by appearing in the hit Korean drama Autumn Fairy Tale and went on in 2003 to achieve international recognition for her outstanding performance as the younger sister Su Yeon in the shocking psychological thriller A Tale of Two Sisters. Moon is the spokesperson for numerous companies and had attended Gwangju International High School. In 2006, she entered Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul.
